AUDI ISRAHEL
DOMINUS DEUS NOSTER,
DOMINUS UNUS EST

HEAR, O ISRAEL: THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE.

ASCOLTA, ISRAELE: IL SIGNORE E IL NOSTRO DIO, IL SIGNORE E' UNO SOLO.

ECOUTE, ISRAEL! L'ETERNEL, NOTRE DIEU, EST LE SEUL ETERNEL.

ESCUCHA, ISRAEL: EL SEÑOR NUESTRO DIOS ES EL ÚNICO SEÑOR.

(Deuteronomy VI, 4)

S A L M I

Il Signore è il mio pastore:
non manco di nulla;

sotto gli occhi dei miei nemici;
cospargi di olio il mio capo.
Il mio calice trabocca.

Felicità e grazia mi saranno compagne
tutti i giorni della mia vita,
e abiterò nella casa del Signore
per lunghissimi anni.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever

Ta houlette et ton bâton me rassurent.

Junto a tranquilas aguas me conduce; me infunde nuevas fuerzas.
Has ungido con perfume mi cabeza; has llenado mi copa a rebosar.
La bondad y el amor me seguirán todos los días de mi vida;

e non siede in compagnia degli stolti;
ma si compiace della legge del Signore,
la sua legge medita giorno e notte.
Sarà come albero piantato lungo corsi d'acqua,
che darà frutto a suo tempo
e le sue foglie non cadranno mai;
riusciranno tutte le sue opere.
Non così, non così gli empi:
ma come pula che il vento disperde;

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked
or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

Ni les pécheurs dans l'assemblée des justes;

Eccl. XXXIV 15-20

Io ti ho costituito luce delle Nazioni
affinché tu sia la mia salvezza
fino agli ultimi confini del mondo
(Isaia IL, 6)

I make you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."

[13]Camminerai su aspidi e vipere, schiaccerai leoni e draghi.
[14]Lo salverò, perché a me si é affidato;

1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3
Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5
You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8
You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9
If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the LORD, who is my refuge--
10
then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13
You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14
"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

1
7
Que mille tombent à ton côté, Et dix mille à ta droite, Tu ne seras pas atteint;
8
11
Car il ordonnera à ses anges De te garder dans toutes tes voies;
12

7 Podrán caer mil a tu izquierda,
y diez mil a tu derecha,
ninguna calamidad llegará a tu hogar.
11 Porque él ordenará que sus ángeles
te cuiden en todos tus *caminos.
12 Con sus propias manos te levantarán
para que no tropieces con piedra alguna.
13 Aplastarás al león y a la víbora;
¡hollarás fieras y serpientes!
14 «Yo lo libraré, porque él se acoge a mí;
lo protegeré, porque reconoce mi *nombre.

Psalm 90 (91)

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him
